Why NUH Life?
NUH Life is the state-of-the-art fertility centre based at Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham. We specialise in ethical, compassionate and high quality fertility care, ovulation induction, intrauterine insemination and donor insemination treatment and sperm donation. We have the privileged position of being based within an NHS hospital, but once you step through our doors, you would never know it. Our beautifully appointed clinic is an oasis of calm and feels like a private centre.
Inclusive
We welcome everyone – heterosexual couples, single women, same sex couples, couples with children and those requiring IVF – for NHS-funded fertility advice and testing. We are actively working to correct the common misconception that single women, same sex couples and couples with children can’t access NHS-funded fertility care, and we can support you to access a GP referral to our service.
Experienced
We are a small, friendly and experienced team with nearly 30 years experience. We will expertly guide you through your fertility journey and funding eligibility.
Affordable
For patients eligible for NHS-funded fertility treatment, we provide ovulation induction (OI), intrauterine insemination (IUI) and donor insemination (DI) in-house.
For those who fall outside NHS treatment criteria we offer affordable, all-inclusive, self-funded treatment packages, see our price list for more information.
If you find that IVF would offer you the best chance, we can support you to find the right IVF clinic for you.
Sperm donors
We have our own sperm donor bank with a wide range of choice of donors that can be used in your DI treatment here at NUH Life, or available for use at your chosen clinic. You can also use your own donor via known sperm donation.

Male fertility
Our expert andrology lab offers semen analysis and sperm storage for both NHS and self-funding patients.
Accessible
NUH Life at QMC has excellent public transport links, onsite parking and a designated free drop-off space for our andrology patients.
Compassionate, ethical care
We pride ourselves on our NHS values and our experience, knowledge and empathy. As a not-for-profit fertility clinic any surplus generated by our service is invested back into the NHS Trust.
